We are also offering Dressage Schooling Divisions for all riders, whether or not you are competing in the horse trials. We will make every effort to schedule the schooling test before the eventing test. Indicate your preference on a horse trials entry.
GHF I is also welcoming Area I adult teams to compete. Members of the Area I Adult Rider Program are invited to form teams of 3-4 horse and rider combinations to compete in the Novice, Training and Preliminary level teams at GHF I.
As always, Groton House Farm Horse Trials has Free Admission. Parking is $7.00, the proceeds of which go to the Windrush Farm Therapeutic Riding Program. Parking is Free on Friday. Programs are $3 each. Press on one of the buttons above to learn more about GHF I.

Perpetual Trophies
The Jim Stamets Award: In memory of Jim Stamets, a close friend of Groton House Farm. Awarded to the lowest scoring Senior Training Rider at GHF I. Donated by Mandy Hogan and Josselyn Shaughnessy. Our 2008 recipient of this most honorable award is Kristina Watkins who rode Little Joe in the Open Training A division, achieving an impressive final score of 25.5 penalty points.
The Willowdale Trophy: Established in 2007, the beautiful Willowdale Trophy is donated by Willowdale Farm and Dick and Elaine Robson. It is awarded to the low scoring senior open novice rider. The 2008 winner of the Willowdale Trophy is Stephanie Baer riding Big D Dardanella, who won the Senior Open Novice A division with a final score of 29.5 penalty points.
Windrush Farm Trophy I: In memory of Banjo. Donor: Windrush Farm. Awarded to the oldest horse to finish eighth or above at Groton House Farm Horse Trials I. 2008 Winner: the 22-year old Tank, owned and ridden by Abby Rolsten,who placed 8th in the Junior Open Novice B division after a spritely Cross Country ride.
Muffin Cup: In memory of the beautiful and versatile little gray mare with the great big heart and personality plus. Donors: Gail Wong and Suzanne Mooney. Awarded to the lowest scoring Junior Training horse at GHF I. 2008 Winner: Toy Master, owned by Lucy Pingree and smartly ridden by Alexandra Pingree, who won the Open Training B division with a score of 32.0 points.
